My name is Matt Sencenbaugh and I'm a current Junior studying Computer Science at Stanford University with a focus on human-computer interaction. I'm interested in web development, mobile development, and website optimization through statistical testing. I'm currently looking for freelance work in order to bootstrap my second startup. After you're done browsing my portfolio don't be afraid to contact me.
This figure isn't really set in stone because each project is unique. Since I am a student and am trying to build up my portfolio right now I am currently only charging $50/hour.
If you have a job you think I would be good for, please contact me. If you have any questions or comments I have a handy dandy contact form. I will make it a priority to get back to you within 24 hours.

I enjoy creating beautiful websites. Personally I like to style them in a very minimalist way to convey your message strongly. Check out a sample page I did for a Stanford GSB class here. (Best viewed in Chrome)
A/B testing is a way to quantitively measure how well your website is performing. The basic idea is that you have two versions of a website (or more if you do a multi-variate test) and you split your incoming website traffic 50/50. Using a combination of analytics and conversion tracking each version of the website can then be measured to determine which works better for you.
By simply testing the call to action on www.adsreloaded.com I found that changing a few words to "Try It Free!" instead of "Try It Now!" increased user signups by 16% !
Ruby on Rails is an excellent framework for creating modern web apps. I have taken CS142 (Web Applications) at Stanford that had a focus on Rails. I'm also currently building my next startup in Rails (wooo!). If you are looking for a junior RoR developer please contact me
I also am proficient in objective C and creating iPhone apps. In addition to taking the course CS193P (iPhone Development) here at Stanford I also have some apps of my own published.
